Rooted in Nature
I've always been pulled toward nature.
Before kids, I traveled constantly: mountains, forests, that first breath of air after rain. Cities never did it for me. I wanted the kind of clarity you only find in a forest. Walking through one, I could feel my breathing slow and my mind clear.
Nature doesn't rush you. It just gives you permission to stop, and somewhere in that stillness, you find your way back to yourself.
Then I had a family. Life got fuller, more grounded, more scheduled. I couldn't just disappear to a coastline whenever I needed to breathe anymore. That freedom got harder to reach.
So I asked myself a different question: if I couldn't get to nature, could I bring it home instead?
Motherhood had already rewired how I moved through the world, and it rewired my standards for scent too. I stopped caring whether something just smelled nice. I wanted something that belonged in a real home: gentle, restrained, the kind of presence you never have to think twice about.
That's the idea AMDA AROMA was built on. Not a bold statement or a passing mood, but a botanical presence that feels like it's always belonged in your space. The kind of scent that meets you at the door and makes you want to breathe a little deeper, like the forest found its way back to you.
That's how AMDA AROMA started.
Our Commitment
What we take from nature, we try to give back.
We donate 1% of our profits to environmental nonprofits focused on reforestation and land restoration. It's a standing commitment, not a one-time gesture, the same way 1% for the Planet member brands approach it.
We don't claim to have it all figured out. This is simply an ongoing responsibility we carry, in how we create and what we choose to stand behind.
