How Herbal Extracts Are Made: The Art of Natural Fragrance

Herbal candles require a more complex production process than regular scented candles, ensuring the perfect balance of fragrance and therapeutic benefits.

Selecting a Natural Wax Base

High-quality, non-toxic waxes such as soy wax, coconut wax, or palm wax are chosen for a clean and even burn.

Extracting Herbal Ingredients

Herbs are soaked in vegetable oils for days or weeks to extract active compounds.

Some herbs are finely ground and directly mixed into the wax.

Essential oils are carefully distilled for purity and potency.

Blending & Pouring

Herbal extracts and essential oils are mixed into melted wax to ensure even distribution.

The wax is then poured into molds or containers and left to cool and solidify.

Curing & Testing

Candles rest for 24-48 hours to allow the fragrance to stabilize.

A burn test ensures the scent is released evenly when lit.

This meticulous process preserves the natural properties of herbs, creating candles that not only smell wonderful but also offer holistic wellness benefits.
